On the evening of September 13, 2024, 41-year-old John Wayne Bolinger left a residence on Mud Hollow Road in Speedwell, Tennessee, and walked into a nearby wooded mountain area. Since that moment, he has not been seen or heard from. His disappearance has raised concerns among family and authorities, as he has a history of mental health challenges and is believed to be without his necessary medication. 

The Man Behind the Name

John Bolinger is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing approximately 230 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a camouflage shirt and blue jeans. Those who know him describe him as a private individual who enjoys spending time outdoors. His family is extremely concerned for his well-being. 

The Search Efforts

Following his disappearance, the Claiborne County Sheriff's Department initiated a search operation. Despite extensive efforts, including ground searches and community involvement, no trace of John has been found.
