A Promising Life Cut Short

In the quiet town of Spring Hill, Kansas, the disappearance and subsequent murder of 15-year-old Tawnya Knight in 1996 remains an unresolved tragedy. Tawnya was last seen on December 7, 1996, after leaving a friend's house in the evening hours. She was reported missing the following day, sparking a search that would end in heartbreak.

Discovery of Remains

Six months later, on June 7, 1997, Tawnya's skeletal remains were discovered in a farmer's field near the Spring Hill Cemetery, just blocks from where she was last seen.
