On the evening of September 11, 2002, the vibrant life of 18-year-old Shawntel Renee White was tragically ended. Shawntel, a recent high school graduate with aspirations for her future, was among a crowd gathered in the 400 block of Manor Place NW in Washington, D.C., when unidentified assailants opened fire indiscriminately, striking her fatally.
