The Fateful Evening

On the night of March 23, 2017, the tranquility of San Diego's Mountain View neighborhood was shattered by the sound of gunfire. At approximately 10:50 p.m., residents reported hearing multiple shots in the 3700 block of Ocean View Boulevard. Responding swiftly, San Diego Police Department officers arrived to a grim scene: a man lying in the street with apparent gunshot wounds to his upper torso.
