The Fateful Evening
On the night of June 1, 2016, the Liberty City neighborhood of Miami was shaken by a violent incident that left a family devastated and a community searching for answers. At approximately 11:20 p.m., 18-year-old Tremmelle D. Raymond Jr. was outside his home near Northwest 69th Street and 6th Court, engaged in a phone conversation with his girlfriend. Unbeknownst to him, danger was approaching.
The Sudden Attack
As Tremmelle conversed, assailants approached and opened fire. In a desperate attempt to escape, he sought refuge inside his home. Tragically, the gunmen pursued him, unleashing a barrage of bullets into the residence. The violent intrusion not only claimed Tremmelle's life but also resulted in injuries to his younger siblings, 12-year-old Jenny and 13-year-old Terrell, who were inside watching television.
