In the early hours of Wednesday, August 6, 2012, the tranquility of Leesburg, Florida, was shattered by a violent crime. At approximately 1:45 a.m., the Leesburg Police Department received a distress call reporting a shooting at 1704 Birchwood Circle. Upon arrival, officers found Wilson George suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite being rushed to the hospital, Mr. George succumbed to his injuries, leaving a community in mourning and a family seeking answers.

Wilson George was known among his family and friends as a man without enemies, someone who was well-liked by everyone who knew him.
