On the evening of September 6, 2016, the tranquility of the Sunny Cascade apartment complex in southwest Atlanta was violently disrupted. Residents were jolted by the deafening sound of nearly 200 gunshots echoing through the 400 block of Fairburn Road. The sheer volume of gunfire left the community in shock and fear, as bullets pierced walls, shattered windows, and left a trail of devastation in their wake.
The Victim: A Young Father's Life Cut Short
Amid the chaos, 25-year-old Terrance Paige, a resident of Atlanta, was fatally struck. According to the Fulton County Medical Examiner's office, Paige was visiting friends at the complex that night.
