Upon arrival, they discovered 26-year-old Dezmond Davidson lying lifeless in the roadway, the victim of a fatal gunshot wound. Davidson, a native of Greenville, Alabama, had been residing in Savannah at the time of his untimely death.
The Immediate Aftermath
Following the discovery of Davidson's body, SCMPD's Violent Crimes detectives swiftly initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting. Despite canvassing the area and interviewing potential witnesses, details about the events leading up to the incident remained scarce.
