On the evening of November 18, 2006, Adrian J. Burgess was fatally stabbed in the Unit block of 15th Street, NE. The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) responded to the scene around 11:00 pm, discovering Burgess with life-threatening injuries. Despite immediate medical attention, he succumbed to his wounds.
