Amid the festivities, gunfire erupted, claiming the lives of 22-year-old Terrence "TMack" McCrary Jr. and 20-year-old Craig Fletcher-Cooks. Both were alumni of Berkeley High School, remembered fondly by their communities. McCrary, an innocent bystander, was struck by a stray bullet, ending a life filled with promise and creativity.
