On July 12, 2018, the city of Louisville was shaken by the tragic death of Na'Chan Nacole Henderson, a 40-year-old mother of eight. While returning home after paying a bill for one of her children, Henderson was fatally shot during a drive-by shooting near the intersection of South 9th Street and West Breckenridge Street. She was a passenger in a vehicle that was riddled with bullets, resulting in her death at the scene and leaving the driver critically injured.
