A Tragic Night in Northwest D.C.

On the evening of Sunday, September 7, 1997, the bustling streets of Washington, D.C., were marred by a heinous crime. At approximately 10:45 p.m., 29-year-old Darrin Robey was fatally shot in the 500 block of Rhode Island Avenue, NW. The circumstances surrounding his death remain shrouded in mystery, leaving a void in the hearts of his loved ones and a case that continues to baffle investigators.

The Immediate Aftermath

Following the shooting, the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) swiftly responded to the scene. Despite their prompt arrival and subsequent investigation, leads were scarce.
