Discovery of the Tragedy
On February 15, 2018, the Louisville Metro Police Department responded to a distressing call at an apartment complex located at 1215 Heafer Road, near Berrytown Park in Louisville's east end. Upon arrival, officers discovered the lifeless body of 28-year-old Isaiah Snoddy in his second-floor apartment. Evidence suggested that Snoddy had been fatally shot several days prior to being found.
Community's Growing Concern
Neighbors became alarmed when they noticed an accumulation of mail outside Snoddy's apartment and a lack of activity from within. Victoria Cox, a resident of the complex, recounted the unsettling scene of police and the coroner's office in the parking lot, stating, "My God, it was terrifying, it really was."
