On September 22, 2019, the city of Louisville, Kentucky, was shaken by the tragic death of 18-year-old Micah Dionte' Gasaway Jr. Known affectionately as "Booman," Micah was found with fatal gunshot wounds near a family member's residence on Vetter Avenue, close to the iconic Churchill Downs. The incident occurred just before 4:30 p.m., prompting an immediate response from the Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD).
