Introduction

On March 4, 2017, the city of Louisville, Kentucky, was shaken by the tragic murder of 17-year-old Troyshawn Derron Young. Despite the passage of time, his case remains unsolved, leaving a family in mourning and a community seeking answers.

The Fateful Night

On that evening, Troyshawn and a female companion were in the 3100 block of Dell Brook Avenue when they were both shot. Attempting to reach medical assistance, they drove to the parking lot of a Chili's restaurant located in the 3600 block of Bardstown Road in West Buechel.
