Born in Ohio, Coleen Egland moved to Fort Myers, Florida, during her teenage years. She was one of four sisters and was affectionately known as the "girly girl" of the family. Her vibrant personality and zest for life made her a beloved daughter, sister, and friend. As she transitioned into adulthood, Coleen embraced the Fort Myers community, building relationships and creating memories that would be cherished by those who knew her.
The Disappearance
On December 2, 1989, 25-year-old Coleen vanished without a trace. She was last seen in the area of Gladiolus Drive in Fort Myers.
