Born on August 9, 1991, in Louisville, Kentucky, Ashton was a vibrant individual with dreams and aspirations that resonated with many in his community. His untimely death on April 26, 2017, remains an unsolved mystery, leaving his loved ones and the Louisville community searching for answers and justice.
The Tragic Day
On the afternoon of April 26, 2017, the tranquility of Louisville's Shawnee neighborhood was shattered by the sound of gunfire. At approximately 3:02 p.m., Ashton was fatally shot in the 4100 block of West Broadway, a location not far from his residence on Cecil Avenue. The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain unclear, and despite investigations, no arrests have been made in connection with his murder.
