On June 30, 2009, the quiet neighborhood of Fairdale in Louisville, Kentucky, was shaken by a horrifying event. Allie Sylvia Habich, an 83-year-old resident, and her 53-year-old daughter, Rita Carrico, were found brutally stabbed to death in Allie's home on National Turnpike.
