Introduction
Timothy Poole, affectionately known as "Tim Poo," was a lifelong resident of Indianapolis's east side. As a devoted father of 16 children and grandfather to over 20 grandchildren, his life was deeply intertwined with his family and community. Tragically, on November 27, 2016, Timothy's life was cut short in a senseless act of violence that remains unsolved to this day.
The Fateful Evening
On that late November evening, Timothy was in the 2200 block of Avondale Place, near Martin University, to pick up a friend's children. As he sat in his parked Dodge Charger, a gray Chevrolet Impala circled the block, eventually pulling up alongside Timothy's vehicle. Without warning, multiple shots were fired into Timothy's car. Despite his injuries, Timothy managed to drive several blocks to Dearborn Street before succumbing to his wounds.
