A Tragic Night in December
In the early hours of December 12, 2008, the quiet neighborhood of East Avenue D in San Angelo, Texas, was shattered by the sound of gunfire. At approximately 1:20 a.m., local police and fire departments responded to reports of shots fired inside the residence at 710 East Avenue D. Upon arrival, they discovered 29-year-old Juan Florentino Ibarra Jr. lying in the living room, suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Despite immediate medical attention, Ibarra was pronounced dead shortly thereafter. The events of that night marked the beginning of a prolonged and painful journey for his family and the community, as the case remains unsolved to this day.

His sisters, Delilah and Vanessa Ibarra, recall him as a family man who was always smiling and had a knack for making others laugh. He enjoyed the outdoors, had a passion for cars, and was deeply involved in his family's lives. The void left by his untimely death has been immeasurable, affecting not only his immediate family but also the broader community that held him in high regard. ...Read More
