A Life Full of Adventure and Love
Born on January 26, 1982, in Anchorage, Alaska, to Shelley and Steve Hanson, Aylett Russell Hanson was a man who embraced life with enthusiasm and warmth. As a protective brother to his siblings, he ensured that no one but him could ever pick on them. This protective nature extended into adulthood, fostering a close-knit family bond that was evident to all who knew them. The arrival of his sister's children brought out the best in "Uncle Aylett," who delighted in spoiling them during holidays, dressing up for trick-or-treating, and initiating playful pillow fights. His childlike spirit resonated in his love for outdoor adventures, often accompanied by his beloved cat, Ninja. Whether it was camping, hiking, fishing, canoeing, or sledding, Aylett believed that each day was an adventure waiting to happen. His legendary Fourth of July camping trips culminated in professional-level fireworks displays, a testament to his desire for everyone to have a great time. Aylett's infectious laugh and unwavering friendships left an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to know him.
