In the early hours of November 29, 2013, the tranquility of the Graybriar Apartments in Phoenix's Maryvale neighborhood was shattered by gunfire. Jeffrey Bellemare, a 59-year-old uniformed security guard, was patrolling the complex on his bicycle when he was fatally shot. The incident occurred around 1:30 a.m., shortly after Thanksgiving celebrations, leaving the community in shock and mourning.
Eyewitness Accounts and Suspect Descriptions
Witnesses reported hearing gunshots and observed two individuals fleeing the scene. The suspects were described as a white or light-skinned Hispanic male and female.
