A Tragic Afternoon in Tampa
On October 29, 2016, the tranquility of Tampa's Tzadik Oaks Apartments was shattered by the sound of gunfire. At approximately 3:24 p.m., 25-year-old Christopher "CJ" Dexter Jr. was fatally shot while at the complex, formerly known as University Oakwoods Apartments, located at 1278 East 113th Avenue. Despite being rushed to Tampa General Hospital, Christopher succumbed to his injuries, leaving a void in the hearts of his family and the community.
A Life Cut Short
Christopher was more than just a victim; he was a beloved son, brother, and father. He left behind three young sons and a stepdaughter, as well as a devoted girlfriend, loving parents, a brother, and a sister.
