July 27, 2022, the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office was notified by US Border Patrol, when one of its agents was patrolling the area and came across the decedent. The decedent was supine on top of a bush. His shoes were off and near his feet. There was an empty pink backpack near the decedent. There were no signs of foul play.
