On 24 February 2010, one human femur was recovered from the beach near the dikes on Morris Island, South Carolina. Anthropological analyses indicates the bone is from a male (possibly white), aged 20-50 at death. There is no evidence of trauma or pathology on the bone. Time since death is estimated to be several years.
