On 7/19/2012 at approximately 11:30 am citizens discovered a shoe on the banks of the Mississippi River in St. Charles County at the Kar-Mill Woods Boat Landing (Lakeview Drive). The shoe was reportedly recovered from a rocky area near the boat ramp. Observed within was a sock containing possible human bones.
