On October 21, 1950, the body of a newborn baby girl was discovered by a couple in a virtually dry Provo riverbed 3 miles from the mouth of Provo Canyon, not far from Christmas City Cafe/Tavern. The body was wrapped in a sheet and weighed down with a large rock.
