Human remains were found by two park rangers near a climbing area of Cedar Break cliffs near Sunset View Lookout at the Cedar Breaks National Monument. The body was situated between two logs, doubled-over, about 300 feet from the highway. There was $1.51 and a flashlight found on the body, along with an empty wallet, and empty metal suitcase, and a cane. The decedent wore a size 8.5 shoe. There was no identification found with the body.
