On April 11, 1978 the body of a newly born baby girl was found in a dumpster behind the Super X drug store at 2231 Hikes Lane.
She was nude and placed in 3 paper bags. She was alive at birth, but abandoned and likely died of exposure. Her mother
has never been identified. She was given the name "Baby Francis" by Law Enforcement Officers.
