Cause of death was multiple trauma which occurred as a result of being the driver of an automobile involved in a one vehicular accident when the 1986 Pontiac he was driving crashed head-on onto the Belleville Memorial Fountain. The incident happened while fleeing from the police in a high speed chase north on South Illinois Street.
