The skull was found on 7/07/2003 between Rifle and Silt Colorado on the Colorado River by some fishermen. No other body parts have been found for this case. Several people have been ruled out by dental comparison. It's possible the person is of African Ancestry or Latino/Hispanic ancestry but most consistent with African Ancestry (black) according to a board certified anthropologist.
