In 2017, decedent's DNA profile matched in the offender index of CODIS to a man who told the Los Angeles Police Department in 2011 that his name was Armando Martinez. Decedent may be Armando Martinez Mendoza of Michoacán. Both name and nationality have yet to be confirmed.
