On Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at 6:30pm, Beaumont Police responded to the area of Fannett Road and South 23rd Street, in reference to the discovery of a human skull. Since the discovery, Detectives have been working with the Jefferson County Crime Lab to search the area for additional evidence. The skull has been sent to the lab for forensic analysis however, there is no timeline for the results.
