USBP found partial skeletal remains in the remote desert. Recent (17 March 2021) DNA match to a man who provided the name Luis Gil Fernandez and birthplace of Veracruz, Mexico. Neither of these claims have been verified. This man was deported to Mexico in April 2017 and two USBP apprehension photos are uploaded here.
