On 12/31/2020 at 1826hrs, DNREC State Parks Police contacted the Delaware Division of Forensic Science to report the discovery of unidentified remains on the north side of Indian River Inlet at Delaware Seashore State Park. The location of recovery was Lat 38°36'33.9"N (38.609411), Long 75°03'45.0"W (-75.062504). The remains, a right femur bone, was found by persons who were walking along the beach searching for seashells.
