On 09/01/2007, two human skulls were discovered inside an abandoned storage unit in Hermitage, TN. The skulls were transported to the Davidson County Medical Examiner's Office for examination. One was determined to be a neonatal biological supply teaching specimen. The other exhibited morphological features of an adult, White male between 40 and 60 years of age. The adult skull had one remaining tooth with a dental amalgam. Therefore, it was deemed contemporary and of forensic value.
