The decedent appears to be an unhoused elderly Hispanic male who was known as "Emilio Hernandez". He lived in an encampment near the intersection of Westmoreland Drive and Pico Boulevard in Los Angeles. He collapsed on the evening of 12/28/2024 and his friend called 911. Paramedics responded and pronounced the decedent dead at scene.
