On June 26, 1982, the body of an unidentified male was recovered from the Idaho side of the Snake River near the mouth of the Grand Ronde River in Nez Perce County, Idaho, approximately 25 miles south of Lewiston. Based on the condition of the remains, the decedent had likely been deceased for 2-3 weeks prior to discovery.
