In December 1985, a passerby discovered human remains in a remote field used as an unauthorized trash dumping site in Tampa, Florida. The remains are believed to be those of a 20-30 year old petite Black female, approximately 5’2” to 5’9” tall. She was found nude and her death was ruled a Homicide. Chemical isotope testing was conducted to estimate her geographical origin: the strontium and lead isotope data are consistent with a local USA origin of birth.
