This human skull was discovered in a wooded area between Crane Church Road and Blue Ridge Terrace, Columbia, SC by a local resident. Officers searched the surrounding area and recovered no additional skeletal remains. The condition of the skull suggested it had not been buried but more likely discarded in the area. It may also be of nineteenth century or earlier origin as suggested by dental features of the skull.
