On May 7, 2021, the body of Robert Rogers Kurt was discovered in a small, park-like area near Walnut Street in Springfield, Massachusetts. As noted by the Springfield Police Department, Mr. Kurt was known to be homeless, and efforts to locate next of kin were ongoing at the time of the discovery.
