On May 8, 2021, the body of a male, later identified as Ronald Dean Edwards, was discovered in a lake in Memphis, Tennessee. The discovery was made by a fisherman who promptly called 911 to report the unresponsive individual. Upon arrival, emergency responders found Edwards deceased, and he was subsequently taken in for examination. The Memphis Police Department oversaw the investigation, handling the case under the identifier 2105003016ME.
