On February 25, 2015, the unclaimed body of Jose Antonio Cobo was discovered in Brooklyn, New York. The case was subsequently assigned the identification UCP1173 by the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs). The circumstances surrounding the discovery of Cobo’s body remain a mystery, and despite efforts to locate next of kin or any acquaintances who might claim him, he remains unclaimed as of the latest records.
