On November 3, 2018, the body of August Rosa was discovered in Kaneohe, Hawaii, initiating a case that remains unresolved, leaving him among the unclaimed. Rosa was a resident at the Aloha nursing home and received care from Islands Hospice at the time of his passing. Despite efforts to trace his lineage or connect with any relatives, no next of kin have come forward to claim his body.
