On December 19, 2019, in Spring Valley, California, the body of 66-year-old Charles Michael Espey was found, marking the beginning of a poignant unclaimed person case. Espey, a White male, lived with roommates in Spring Valley. On that day, one of his roommates discovered him seated unresponsive on the living room couch and quickly called emergency services for help.
