On December 31, 2019, the body of a 75-year-old white male, John David Landis, was found unresponsive in a secured residence in Memphis, Tennessee. Despite the immediate intervention of local authorities, it was soon apparent that the circumstances surrounding Landis's death were complicated by an unusual lack of connection to family or acquaintances. Identified through fingerprints by the Medical Examiner, his passing has left unanswered questions about his life and history.
