On January 16, 2020, the body of Fred Thomas Rice, a 56-year-old Black male, was found unresponsive in a Memphis, Tennessee nursing home. Despite a positive identification made by the Medical Examiner through fingerprint analysis, efforts to locate any next of kin have so far been unsuccessful.
