On January 1, 2023, authorities in Memphis, Tennessee, responded to a call from hotel staff who discovered an unresponsive man in one of the rooms. Upon arrival, the Memphis Police Department commenced initial investigative procedures on the scene. The individual, later identified as Michael Randell Male, was pronounced dead.
