On the afternoon of September 1, 2020, Margie Lynn Walker was last seen alive by a friend who visited her at her Oceanside, California apartment. The following day, this friend returned to check on her but received no response after knocking on her door. Concerned for her wellbeing, he headed to a nearby community senior center, only to find she was not there either. Realizing that something might be amiss, he promptly contacted emergency services via 911, requesting a welfare check.
