On the morning of February 7, 2000, an unresponsive male body was discovered on a sidewalk in Los Angeles, California. The decedent, identified as Lawrence Beach Lanza, was known to have been a transient at the time of his death. Despite efforts to locate any next of kin or known associates, Lanza's body remains unclaimed.
